Guided Summer Farm and Ridge Hike from Nordfjordeid Cruise Port

Step off the ship and walk straight from Nordfjordeid harbour on a guided hike to Ossætra: a real mountain day ashore, no full-day summit.

The first hour is steep, on a farm track and old stone steps. Your guide sets the pace for the slowest person and turns back early if needed to keep a margin before all-aboard.

At the summer farm by a mountain lake we stop for coffee or tea and a snack, then follow the ridge for the best fjord views.

7.6 km, 520 m of ascent, 3.5 hours. Good shoes and a rain jacket will do; poles are free to borrow. Groups of up to 15.

Good to know: - Departs with at least 2 guests. If it can't run, we tell you the evening before: new date or full refund. - We hike in rain and cloud. If strong wind or thunder makes it unsafe, we shorten or cancel with a full refund. - If your ship skips Nordfjordeid, you get a full refund. - All ages welcome. Free under-8s don't count towards the 15. We recommend 10+ and lend child carriers. Up to 4 children (8–16) per adult.
