Khao Sok Jungle Trek and River Tubing Waterfall Hut Bamboo Lunch

Every day, a local guide takes a shared group of up to 15 on foot into Khao Sok National Park. Our van collects you from your hotel at about 08:30, and the walking begins at the park gate around 09:30. The route runs 3 km out beside the river, through humid forest, over roots and across the water more than once, to a simple hut standing next to a waterfall. Lunch is cooked right there on an open fire, inside sections of bamboo: plain trail food rather than a sit-down meal. Wild elephants and monkeys share this forest, though spotting either depends on luck. After lunch and a rest you walk the same 3 km back, then trade the trail for an inner tube and a life jacket and let the Sok River current take you on the last leg. It suits active people with moderate fitness who don't mind sweating and getting soaked.
