This route crosses one of the most celebrated natural landscapes in São Jorge and the wider Azores.

Walk from the highlands to the coast through waterfalls, native vegetation and dramatic volcanic terrain before reaching the famous Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo and Fajã dos Cubres.
