Grande Mosquée de Paris Small Group Guided Tour with Entry

Step into a Moroccan-built courtyard in the heart of Paris. Built between 1922 and 1926 to honour the Muslim soldiers who died for France in the First World War, the Grande Mosquée de Paris was inaugurated on 15 July 1926 and celebrates its centenary in 2026. On this 90-minute small-group visit (6 guests maximum), a guide-conférencier licensed by the French Ministry of Culture explains its Hispano-Moorish architecture, inspired by Morocco and the al-Qarawiyyin of Fez: the 33-metre minaret, the central patio, the Andalusian garden, and the zellige tilework and carved cedar made by Moroccan craftsmen. Entry is included. The prayer hall is not visited during prayer; your guide adapts the route to prayer times. Modest dress required: shoulders and knees covered, and a scarf is recommended for women.
