Private Northern Lights Hunt from Reykjavik by SUV or Van

Hunt for the northern lights in your own private vehicle, away from the city lights of Reykjavik. No big bus and no crowds: just your group, your driver and the night sky.

Your driver picks you up at your Reykjavik accommodation at 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm and follows the aurora and cloud forecasts to find the darkest, clearest skies that night. There is no fixed route: you go where the conditions are best, with time to stop, look up and take photos. Expect up to 4 hours.

The northern lights are natural and cannot be guaranteed. We check the forecast daily and confirm by 6:00 pm (GMT) on the day. If conditions are poor, we cancel with a full refund or move your tour to another night.
