Hiroshima Giant Brush Calligraphy on a Riverside Rooftop

Most calligraphy experiences take place sitting at a small desk. Here, you stand in front of a sheet of paper as tall as you are and write with a giant brush, using your whole body.

You learn from a third-generation calligrapher who started at the age of 4. A certified calligraphy master and the head of his own calligraphy school, he has won numerous awards, and he opens each session with a live performance.

The venue is an open-air hotel rooftop with views over the river and city of Hiroshima. With a maximum of 4 guests, everyone gets personal guidance, and no experience is needed.
