Explore the best autumn spots in Tokyo with your private local guide and Ginta the Shiba Inu.

Begin at Tayasumon Gate, the oldest structure of the Edo Castle. Then walk past Nippon Budokan, built for the 1964 Tokyo Olympic judo competition and later famous as a legendary music venue.

Stroll through Kitanomaru Park with about 300 maples and 100 ginkgo trees, and enjoy petting and cuddling a Shiba Inu for photos.

Visit Yasukuni Shrine, where a 25-meter torii gate stands along a path of golden ginkgo trees. After praying at the shrine, wander in a Meiji-era garden with koi (nishikigoi), stepping stones, waterfall stonework where autumn leaves reflect on the water.

Browse Japanese souvenirs, then continue to Chidorigafuchi.
