At Palazzo Branciforte, restored according to a design by Gae Aulenti, the approximately 45-minute tour with audio guide leads to the ancient Monte dei Pegni of Santa Rosalia, an intricate arrangement of wooden shelves on multiple floors that leaves one speechless.
