Madrid Prado Museum tour - Private

Join this visit to the Prado museum to experience the importance of art during several periods in Spanish history. We will see religious scenes, portraits of influential rulers, and stories from Greek mythology. Much of the art was created for the royal family and the Church, reflecting their tastes and priorities at the time.

The museum features work by major artists such as Bosch, Titian, El Greco, Rubens, Velázquez, Murillo, and Goya—figures who have played key roles in the development of European art. As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” During this tour, we’ll look at what these paintings tell us about the society, culture, and history of Spain during the time they were made.
