Shymbulak and Bogbanovisch Glacier Hike

Join a guided mountain hike from Shymbulak Ski Resort to the spectacular Bogdanovich Glacier.

Start with a scenic cable car ride to Shymbulak Ski Resort, then follow your guide along a mountain trail (approximately 2 km one way), reaching an altitude of around 3,200 meters above sea level.

The trail is rocky and uneven, making the hike more challenging, especially before sufficient snow accumulates. Conditions are expected to improve once the snow becomes thick enough, probably from mid-November.

You will pass the area of Oktyabrskaya Cave, but the cave is currently inaccessible due to a rock blockage and cannot be visited this year.

Enjoy breathtaking mountain views, take memorable photos, and have a scenic outdoor snack break at the glacier.

Hiking poles and crampons (spikes) are provided.
