Founded in 1937 by Mestre Bimba, the creator of Capoeira Regional, this historic school represents an important chapter in the development and preservation of capoeira in Brazil. Today, its traditions continue through the Mestres, students, and practitioners who keep this cultural heritage alive.

Unlike rehearsed shows, every Capoeira Roda unfolds spontaneously through live music, movement, rhythm, and the shared energy of those present. Combined with samba, drumming, and the vibrant spirit of Bahia, the experience offers a genuine connection to Afro-Brazilian culture.
