Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Safari with Breakfast near Hartbeespoort

Begin your day with a sunrise hot air balloon safari over the beautiful Magalies River Valley, west of Hartbeespoort Dam. Operating since 1981, Bill Harrop’s “Original” Balloon Safaris combines 45 years of ballooning experience with warm South African hospitality from its private launch site near Skeerpoort.

Enjoy hot drinks and biscuits while the balloons are prepared, followed by an approximately one-hour shared balloon flight. After landing, celebrate with sparkling wine and orange juice before returning to the Clubhouse Pavilion and Restaurant for a buffet breakfast.

The entire experience takes approximately 3–4 hours. As every flight is determined by the wind and weather conditions on the day, no two balloon safaris are ever quite the same.
