Dujiangyan and Taoist Mount Qingcheng Day Tour

Only one and half hours outside of Chengdu, escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Chengdu and visit the oldest irrigation project in the world, the only one gets preserved and still be used; meanwhile The half-day adventure hike in Mt Qingcheng takes you into the home of Tai Chi where you will witness the Taoist way of life. On the way up, you will visit Jianfu Palace and then reach the Tianshi Cave, the birthplace of Taoism. Upon reaching the summit of Qing Cheng Mountain, you will witness an incredible panoramic view.

Itinerary 08：00-09:30 Pick up and go to Dujiangyan City

09:30-11:30 Visit Dujiangyan Irrigation Project

11:30-13:00 Lunch in Dujiangyan City

13:00-14:30 Drive to Mt Qingcheng and have a afternoon tea break in the local tea house

14:30-17:30 Qingcheng Mountain Hike

17:30-19:00 Go back to downtown of Chengdu, the end of trip
