Kompong Khleang Floating Village Small-Group Tour from Siem Reap

Kompong Khleang is the largest and least-visited floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, and your guide grew up there. Join a small group (max 10) in an air-conditioned minivan for a 4-hour trip from Siem Reap. Stop on the way for fresh sticky rice from a roadside stand, then board a wooden boat through a stilted village of 10,000 people, where houses rise eight metres above the dry-season ground. Visit the village pagoda and its giant Buddha, pass the floating school, and continue out onto the open lake. The sunset departure ends with sunset on the water.
